Pelstar LLC/Health o meter® Professional Scales develops connectivity option for its existing EMR capable scales to wirelessly transmit data to EMR systems.
Pelstar LLC, manufacturer of Health o meter® Professional scales, introduces new wireless connectivity for all Health o meter® Professional EMR capable scales. This new wireless option is the latest addition to the scale company’s series of EMR connectivity solutions. The wireless connectivity utilizes WiFi encryption technology to securely transmit measurement data from the scale to a facility’s EMR system. Health o meter® Professional scales are preconfigured to interface with Allscripts TouchWorks® and Professional™ systems, Midmark® IQmanager® Software, Welch Allyn® Spot Vital Signs® LXi and Connex® Vital Signs Monitors, as well as systems that have installed the Health o meter® Professional EMR Software Development Kit (SDK). The new wireless solution is compatible with all existing Health o meter® Professional EMR capable scales, so there is no need for facilities to purchase new scales. Health o meter® Professional Scales will also launch another wireless connectivity solution this fall.
