ADA compliance third-party certification awarded for top-selling stand-on platform scales.
McCook, IL April 29th, 2025 – Pelstar LLC, the manufacturer of Health o meter® Professional Scales, announces its 1100KL and 2101KL platform scales are now certified as ADA compliant. The third-party certification assures that the scale is in compliance with U.S. Access Board’s standards for medical diagnostic equipment, specific to stand-on weight scales. The 1100KL and 2101KL feature the required slip-resistant standing surface as well as handrails located between 34”-38” above both sides of the platform.
